Things you need to know about vape coil types

Your personal preferences and the hardware you choose will determine the vaping experience that you have. Although coils are a key tool in getting the best vape experience, it can sometimes be confusing to know what you need. Here is a list of all the types of vape coils that are available in the e cigarette shop.

Here are they:

What does a vape coil look like?

Let's first look at what a vape cartridge is. The vape coil is also known as the head of an atomizer. It's the wound wire portion of the atomizer. It consists of a coil made up of wire and a cotton wick in the middle. You inhale the vapor when the coil heats to a certain temperature.

Different types of coils

There are two types of vape coil designs: exotic and simple. To create a coil, simple coils are made up of one strand of wire wrapped around the coiling rod. To create different shapes and looks, exotic coils combine multiple strands with a coiling rod to make a coil. These exotic coils include Clapton and twisted coils.

Materials for coils

Many metals can be used to make coils. The most popular include kanthal and stainless steel as well as nickel, nichrome, and titanium.

* Kanthal wire offers the highest cost-to-performance ratio among all the materials. It's affordable and is widely used in coils.

* Stainless Steel wire offers excellent flavor and long-term durability in comparison to other wires.

* Nichrome wire, an alloy of nickel and chrome, heats up quicker than kanthal and produces more flavor and clouds with less heat time. This is a great compromise because it's cheaper than stainless steel.

* Nickel wires have a firing speed of 99%. This is because it has no resistance. Nickel poisoning can be a serious concern so it should not be used in temperature control mode.

* Titanium wires have the fastest heating and cooling times of any wire. They produce the best taste of all the coil metals but should be controlled for temperature.

Resistance to vape coils

A few factors affect the resistance of a coil: gauge, inner diameter, and the number of wraps used. The resistance of a coil will increase if it has a higher gauge. The coil will heat up faster if it has a higher resistance.

When shopping for vape coils, there are many options and variables. To get the best out of your vaping experience, make sure you are using the correct material and resistance levels.

How long vape coils can last?

A new coil should last from one to two weeks. When vaporized, most e-liquids will leave a thin layer. This can build up around your coils or wicks and cause your device to become clogged over time. It is important to replace your coil every one to two weeks. However, you must also clean your device regularly.

Here are some of these benefits:

 * Regular cleaning will prolong the life of your coil and vape tank.
 * Superior performance - Regular cleaning removes any buildup that might get on the atomizer or cause an unpleasant taste. It can also clog air vents, leading to dry hits and overheating.
 * More flavour - Vaping is all about enjoying the flavor. Vaping is a great way to enjoy your e-liquid. Clean coils and tanks will produce fresher, more flavorful flavours.
